Monastery Of The Holy Spirit
Marvel at the beauty of this monastery that is taken care of by monks living there. Their visitor center features interactive displays, exhibits and videos about the monastic tradition, as well as the Trappist monks at the Monastery of the Holy Spirit. The monks have different shops selling the goods theyve made, and Nicoles favorite is the bakery. They have some of the freshest, most delicious breads for sale in their bakery and we recommend picking up some of their baked goods while youre there. Location: On Hwy 212, about 27 minutes away in Conyers. Cost: $. Visit for more.
Great Place Great Location Just Great
This is a truly amazing property which is full of amazing history. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. It is literally a 5 min walk into Covington with plenty of restaurants to choose from. The breakfasts are traditional southern fare so bring your biggest appetite! The cheese and wine at 5pm is a nice touch and really gives you a chance to mingle if you wish. This was our first B& B experience in the USA and definitely won’t be the last. nick1981

Amazing Experience So Beautiful And Great Service

I stayed here for 3 nights. One night was Breakfast at Tiffanys and then Steel Magnolias for two nights. The wine and cheese hour was wonderful. We met some very nice people and were able to talk with them and ended up running into them throughout our stay. The breakfast each morning was amazing. We had stuffed French toast, pancakes and eggs, and biscuits and gravy. We were always offered more to eat if we wished and the fresh coffee and orange juice was always there! I cant even say how beautiful and unique the rooms were. We had shower and bath options and turn down service before bed with chocolates and bottled water. We loved it so much and hope that we can visit again! Adtoney.

Twelve Oaks: Heaven On Earth
When we pulled up to this opulent mansion and let ourselves in, our immersion began. From the outside and grounds to the grand staircase that takes you up to the rooms, it was magic from the start. Room names pay homage to productions filmed in Covington and we had chosen the In The Heat of The Night Suite. The room was beautiful with a giant armoire for hanging clothes as well as full of spare bedding and bathrobes. Our fireplace was lit and the oversized bed and furniture were a welcome home to weary travelers. Jim P,

Excellent location rated 9.8/10!
The breakfast was outstanding! The staff felt like family and went above and beyond my expectations. The location is perfect. Just enough outside the town square to feel a little secluded. I just wish I could have stayed longer.
Best homemade breakfast! Parfait, peaches & cream stuffed french toast, sausage links, & eggs! Missed the Sippin’& Nibblin’ hour, but I’m sure it was fantastic as well!
We had a great stay. The home was very clean and the front desk was very pleasant and helpful.

Southern Luxury And Relaxation
The home, town and people were all exceptional! From the moment we drove onto the Twelve Oaks B& B, we were in awe of the opulence. Every room was immaculate and designed with an amazing eye for period authenticity. Nicole, John and staff greeted us and encouraged us to look around and enjoy the property. The large front and back porches and the huge yard made for a quiet and relaxing stay. The breakfasts were delicious each day and we lingered over coffee with other guests who became fast friends. Of note were the strawberry/raspberry topped pancakes and stuffed French toastMmmm! We thoroughly enjoyed an in-room massage with Selena, dined at the Mystic Grill of the Vampire Diaries fame, were spooked on our ghost tour offered through Wild Art and of course had our fill of ice-cream at Scoops. We stayed 4 nights and it was a true get-away. Within walking distance of the quaint town of Covington with shops and restaurants, our visit to Twelve Oaks Covington was a trip we will always treasure!Brad and Claire Reinke

Be Prepared To Be Impressed
I had just recovered from major cancer surgery and wanted to celebrate my 30th wedding anniversary away from home. My wife and I stayed in the Steel Magnolia room, and was so impressed with the bed the two person shower the jetted tub with mood lighting. I jumped into one of the housecoats and didnt want to get out of it! The breakfast was so delicious my wife and I have a special diet and the staff hit it out of the park with the way they handled our needs. This just might be a once a year stop for us . We had a great visit with the staff and was thoroughly impressed with the appearance of the property. WE WILL BE BACK!Newlifemac
