Storybook Dining At Artist Point Disneys Wilderness Lodge
A new entry to our best character dining at Disney World is Located in Disneys Wilderness Lodge and is the most upscale character dining experience you will find at Disney World. Disney revamped Artist Point a few years ago and now the restaurant is the Enchanted Forest.
For those of you who loved the old Artist Point, Story Book Dining at Artist Point still has a very upscale and sophisticated menu, however now its completely Snow White-themed,
This character dining is dinner-only. One of my favorite aspects of this restaurant is the special potion-themed cocktails and mocktails, my kids loved the In the Clouds beverage.
For characters, youll see Snow White, Dopey, Grumpy and even The Evil Queen. Those last three are a real premium because while you can meet and greet Snow White in other places around the park, you can only meet with the queen and the dwarves at separately-ticketed seasonal events. But the best part of the experience is probably dessert, as the meal finishes with a sweets flight inspired by Disneys first feature-length film, from shiny poison apples to Miners Treasures that feature chocolate gemstones.
Final Thoughts On The Disney Princess Breakfast Adventures
Overall, I had an amazing time during my visit here! I felt very luxurious and as if I was dining like true royals. The interactions with the princesses were so much fun and interactive, as if it werent even in a modified capacity.
Also, the food and the Chef, who I got to speak to for a moment, was so good! Cast Members were all accommodating and the service me and my party were given was immaculate.
I would genuinely recommend this experience for first time visitors, for a special occasion or a treat yo self-meal!

A truly hidden gem straight from the Seven Dwarfs mine! Dine in the Enchanted Forest as Snow White, The Evil Queen, Dopey, and Grumpy stroll through the restaurant. Dinner options include the Royal Prime Rib Roast, Brothers Grimm Herbed Chicken, Magic Mirrors Slow-Braised Pork Shank, and Bashfuls Butter Poached Sustainable Fish. Or enjoy the vegetarian option A Stroll Through Nature with asparagus, leeks, arugula, and gnocchi. Kids can choose from the Royal Prime Rib Roast, grilled chicken, or pasta.
Finish the meal with the Poison Apple mousse, the Fairy Tale Gooseberry Tart, the Miners Treasures, or a dessert sampler with all three!
Our take: The atmosphere of Artists Pointe is whimsical. Multi-colored lights are strung through the trees, and you feel like youre in Snow White. While the characters do not currently stop at each individual table for photos and autographs, the cast members will direct you for socially distanced photos, and you get an autograph card to take home. This is one of the lesser-known princess dining experiences, so you may have better luck getting reservations as well.

Pros And Cons To Disney Character Breakfasts
Not only do the Disney character breakfast options allow you to skip character meet and greet lines in the parks, but some characters are ONLY available to meet at specific restaurants.
Plus, some options for breakfast with characters at Disney are in Disney resorts instead of Disney parks, meaning you can meet your favorite characters without needing park admission OR paying for parking!
However, there are some downsides to a Disney character breakfast worth noting.
First, the meals fetch a pretty penny, with many options reaching or exceeding $50 per person. Thats right Per. Person.
Second, if you choose to have a Disney character breakfast in one of the theme parks, itll take a large chunk of time out of your day.
Lastly, while the quality of food is good, it isnt spectacular, as it is at many of the best Disney restaurants.

How Long Do Character Meals Take
Youll want to budget about 90 minutes for your meal.
That gives you time to check in, be seated, and then time to eat and see all the characters without racing through anything.
It may take less time than that, but for planning purposes 90 minutes is a good rule of thumb.
In a hurry? If eating at a fixed-price meal, ask for your check as soon as you sit down, so you can pay and then leave as soon as youre finished eating.

Disney Character Dining Options 2023
One of the most important things to consider when booking your Disney character meal is that pre-shut down character experiences are back! This means that instead of the Disney characters free roaming through each dining room, they once again stop and take photos with you at the tables! Guests will be happy to know that they can enjoy character dining at over twelve Disney World restaurantsincluding options in all four of the Disney World main parks including Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Hollywood Studios, and Animal Kingdom. Its also important for us to note that many character dining meals are prix fixe menus which we discuss the pricing later in this post. Make sure to check your favorite restaurants menu to double check if it is still the same offerings as years past. Also please keep in mind some of the Disney World character dining reservations do require a valid Walt Disney World ticket if the restaurant is in one of the theme parks.

Enjoy a meal in a medieval castle with Snow White, Cinderella, Belle, Aurora, and Ariel. Breakfast is composed of American favorites served family-style such as scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, potato casserole, cinnamon rolls, and fresh fruit.
Lunch and dinner include more Norwegian-inspired fare such as seafood, imported cheeses, and cured meats. Entrées include your choice of grilled filet of salmon, oven-roasted chicken breast, or Kjøttkake . Childrens meals include their choice of pizza, pasta, grilled chicken, or salmon served with vegetables. Then, everyone can enjoy The Royal Chefs Dessert Plate to cap off the meal.
Our take: This is a sound option to get most of your princess Meet and Greets done, especially if you plan to meet Anna and Elsa in the Royal Sommerhus next door before or after your meal. Another benefit is getting into Epcot before everyone else if you book for breakfast. However, the food is not necessarily spectacular. With this option, you are definitely paying for the characters more than the food.

Disney Jr Play N Dine Breakfast
Hollywood & Vine isnt a bad experience Disney character breakfast.
As a matter of fact, it made it onto our list of the best Hollywood Studios restaurants!
However, it is aimed at a very specific crowd.
All of the characters at Hollywood & Vine are from Disney Jr., so you wont get to have breakfast with Mickey and Friends or even any princesses walking around and meeting guests.
But if you or your little ones are interested in dining with Disney characters like Doc McStuffins, Vampirina, and Sofia the First for breakfast, then this is definitely the place for your family.

Many little girls’ very first request will be to “eat in the castle” at the Magic Kingdom. You can make this wish come true with the breakfast at Cinderella’s Royal Table. The breakfast includes a meet-and-greet photo session with Cinderella herself. The breakfast 2 credits on the Disney Dining Plan, and cost varies seasonally for guests paying cash.
This is a very hard-to-book meal, and generally considered a “right of passage” event for long time Disney fans. Get on your computer or your phone as soon as your 180-day window opens up for your best chance at booking.
The food here has an Italian twist to and looks amazing, I will chalk that up to this not being buffet service. For parents, the morning cocktails are top notch and more creative than your standard mimosa.

At this point, in November 2022, Walt Disney World has not formally announced the return of all of the characters in the Castle, and it is currently only Cinderella whom you can meet.
However, it is still a fun and extremely popular restaurant to dine at. After all, you are dining in Cinderellas Castle!
Walking down Main Street, you cannot miss this magical, iconic building that magnetically draws crowds. Inside, the attention to detail is incredible. Just be warned that even though you would have booked a specific time slot, you are going to have to wait outside until you are called. But dont be a grump, the wait is usually only 10 15 minutes long and other people are ending their enchanted experience. Be happy for them its almost your turn!
When you enter the Castle, youll find yourself in a queue leading you to your photo op with the hostess herself, Cinderella! This is currently the only opportunity to have your photo taken with her in the Castle. This is also the perfect opportunity to ask the Princess for her autograph. Once you have finished chatting, climb the royal spiral staircase and enter the dining area which will be buzzing with excitement.
If youre here for dinner, watch the incredible fireworks display from inside the Castle.
