Is ‘fixer To Fabulous’ Getting Canceled Over These Legal Troubles

New episodes of Fixer to Fabulous Season 3 are still currently airing on HGTV. As far as Season 4 goes, there hasnt been an announcement about a renewal just yet. The show appears to still be sitting in limbo since it also hasnt been canceled. With the current legal issues surrounding Dave and Jenny, some fans are wondering if it’s possible HGTV will pull the plug on the show.

It’s been previously reported that Dave and Jenny have a combined net worth that lands somewhere between $2 million and $5 million. If these numbers are accurate, that means they shouldnt have a hard time handling the lawsuit against them. If theyre able to successfully handle the lawsuit before it becomes too much more of a scandal, its possible Fixer to Fabulous wont have to suffer from potential cancelation.

Dave Marrs : Latest News

HGTV stars Dave Marrs and Jenny Marrs had so much fun working on their recent bed and breakfast project, the couple tell Closer exclusively. The entire restoration process was documented on their spinoff series, Fixer to Fabulous: Welcome Inn.

We finished up the actual project in January and we are waiting to rent it out until the beginning of May so that the show can air, and we dont give anything away, Jenny explains.

The pair, who are experts in restoring historical homes, always had a dream of owning an inn. They knew that this particular 1870s home was worth saving immediately when they toured it. The television stars set out to design their ideal bed and breakfast called The Welcome Inn.

We try to make these houses for these homeowners as a reflection of their family. And I feel like this house was, its a reflection of Jenny and I and the things that we love, Dave adds about the inspiration behind the decor. Its kind of become, you know, just like our baby, like a little project making a house exactly how weve always wanted to.

Though they are extremely excited about the outcome of their project, the pair did run into a few challenges like trying to figure out the website and the rental piece of it. Just like with every home they renovate on their hit series Fixer to Fabulous, Dave and Jennys goal is always to highlight some of the great features that each house already has.

How Welcome: Inn Came About

Dave and Jenny never dreamed of owning an inn, but as soon as they toured this historical home, they knew they had to have it. The house in question is located one town over from Bentonville, Arkansas, where Jenny and Dave live.

We immediately knew it was such a cool house that we wanted to save, Dave tells HGTV. We didnt even know what we were going to do with it, we just didnt want to see it get torn down. So, we kind of bought it, really, without any plan.

The house had been abandoned for a while and was in desperate need of a renovation. As soon as Dave and Jenny began to analyze the layout, they realized it would make for the perfect bed and breakfast.

We knew wed be able to work the floorplan in such a way to provide a bedroom and a bathroom,”Jenny tells HGTV.”And we knew we didnt want to move into it. We also knew we didnt want to sell it, so we just thought this would be a great project to create a place where people can come and visit and stay from all over the country.

What Viewers Can Expect To See

Start to finish, every detail of the house,” says Jenny, “they were filming while we were working while we were coming up with plans and also trying to decide, you know, all the decisions of what linens are we going to carry? What food are we going to put in the welcome basket? What coffee are we going to carry?

Each of the four episodes shows what its really like and what it really requires to renovate an old historic property. You have to want to do it because, most times, its more expensive than just tearing it down and building something new, Dave says. I hope people see . Its not always sunshine. There are multiple times in this whole process where we really wondered, ‘Did we make the right decision, to take this on?’

In short, we’ll get to see everything.

Jenny And Dave Marrs Will Be Taking Renovation To The Next Level

Where is the Bed & Breakfast Featured in ‘Fixer to Fabulous: Welcome Inn’ Located?

Recently, Jenny Marrs of “Fixer to Fabulous” took to her to announce some exciting news. She and her husband, Dave, are starting a new HGTV series: “Fixer to Fabulous: Welcome Inn.” And, while the pair is excited about this project, it wasn’t easy. In her post, Jenny discussed the difficulties of the renovation.

“The monstrosity of a project called The Welcome Inn is finally wrapped up and we have an air date so you can all watch the madness unfold! This was truly a massive undertaking…we fell in love with a beautiful, yet downtrodden, historic home and decided to restore it early last year. It seemed like a typical home restoration for us but it ended up being a rollercoaster ride / money pit / labor of love.”

Luckily for fans, that rollercoaster ride turned into a new series for home restoration lovers to enjoy. According to HGTV, the show will premiere March 15, 2022, at 9/8c and will consist of four episodes. Every Tuesday night, Jenny and Dave will take viewers along as they renovate an 1880s home and turn it into a fully functioning inn.

French Doors And Shutters Are A Charming Touch

To start, the HGTV stars pour a lot of time and money into curb appeal. They replace the decrepit columns with new steel ones, add a new roof and siding, and lay down new brick pavers. They also turn the front windows into French doors, creating some valuable indoor-outdoor flow to the building.

We took what once were windows and created French doors, Jenny says. And were going to add floor-to-ceiling shutters to those French doors.

Jenny paints the shutters blush and adds gas lanterns to the porch ceiling. These details make a big difference in creating Jennys quintessential Southern home.

The Story Of Welcome Inn

The Welcome Inn was originally built by the King family in the 1870s on a 160-acre working farm. Over the past one hundred and fifty years, we know of only four previous owners. We have met two of the families who lived and loved and made their mark in this place.

The restoration itself took just under a year and was a massive undertaking. We faced extensive rot in the floors and walls, termite damage, hundreds of thousands of bees living within the exterior columns, and had to bring the house up to code with electrical and plumbing and a functioning kitchen.

We have fallen hard for this beautiful home and cannot wait to open the doors to share it with all of you. It wasnt an easy restoration but it was most assuredly worth it.

Weve received a lot of questions about who will take care of the chickens at the Inn, and I LOVE answering this one! Weve partnered with a local nonprofit doing amazing work with young women in our community who have aged out of foster care or are facing homelessness. Together with @savinggracenwa, weve developed a hospitality training program for these young women that involves working at the Welcome Inn and caring for the home, the gardens, the guests and, of course, the chickens.

We are absolutely passionate about this work and are honored to know that this special house is going to be a welcoming place for visitors and for these incredible young women who are seeking to change the trajectory of their lives.

Well see you at the Inn,

Feels like old days on the block!! . It was incredible to see these two. We always laugh way too much and drink too much bourbon, but life is short. The Welcome Inn is a must! 10/10 would stay here again!

adds Thomas , We had a GREAT stay at Dave and Jennys new project The Welcome Inn! The house is beautiful, it is perfectly equipped for a comfortable stay and of course Dave and Jenny were the best hosts ever. Thanks for letting us test it for you @jennymarrs. I will be a tester anytime lol.
